My cats actually like and use this item.There are multiple levels to accommodate whatever mood they're in be it sleep, stalk, rough-n-tumble play, or just observing the household. The toys that came with it provide needed entertainment and exercise and the numerous openings accommodate curious paws and noses.It is a well designed and constructed haven that is not small and cheesy nor is it unattractive.My big Maine Coon siblings and my petite Domestic Shorthairs all take turns in/on it.The pad removes for washing and the whole unit can easily be cleaned with a damp towel.Located near a window and up off the ground may contribute to its popularity.
