I just brought my American Curl kitten home from NYC where he had been trained by the breeder to use scratching posts and cat trees and he took to this instantly. The dangling mouse is suspended on the second level by elastic and I doubt it will last long as my cat loves the thing and won't leave it alone. He meows at it, swats it and tries ever so hard to rip it down.Overall the item is simple to assemble, is sturdy and well made. All the posts are covered in sisal rope and my cat is clawing that instead of my furniture. The seller was great too, got it delivered very quickly even on standard shipping and the item arrived in pristine condition.
