We purchased this cat tree and assembled it easily. My cats were immediately interested in it and began playing on it right away. It is constructed with sisal posts that my cats immediately began to use as scratching posts. My little cat (still a kitten) climbed up one of the base sisal posts like a little monkey. They both love the round hideout with its lookout holes.
It is stable enough to handle two cats climbing and playing on it at a time. It has a wide stance so that it doesn't tip over. All the posts are sisal, which is the most recommended for use as a scratching post.
This was an excellent purchase. I highly recommend it.
