The tree condo is just what I needed in the garage for my two black
cats. It can be by the garage door window and they can sit in the sun or go to the top tier.It was fairly easy to put together.I did need a little
help as I was afraid I might drop the tiers and break something.
And it is very sturdy.

Review of Pet Supply Imports - Kitty Play Tunnel

I originally purchased two of the PETCO Blue & White Kitty Crinkle Tunnels for my cats and wanted to get more tunnels for them so I decided to try these tunnels instead.

They love these tunnels (I purchased four) along with two of the Pet Supply Imports - Kitty Connector Tees I purchased.

These tunnels are collapsible, lined, sturdy, have a larger circumferene to accommodate fat cats, and tie together with the connector tee or additional tunnels to make elaborate structures for your cats.My four cats took turns sleeping and playing in the tunnel so I decided to order two more tunnels today.

I will tie them together in various configurations with each other or the connector tees to change up their environment and also move them around to different rooms.I will also combine them with the crinkle tunnels I have. The only thing the tunnel doesn't have are peep holes in the middle like the crinkle tunnels.However, if you buy the connector tee, there's a center hole in that they can look out of and they can also get out between each tunnel at the "tie" points becaue there is a slight separation there.

This tunnel is the absolute best in my opinion and I certainly feel it was worth the extra money.

Review of 78" Cat Furniture Tree Condo

A fine, fine product. Although they skimped on the ivory and jade inlays, this tower will elevate your cat's spirits to bold new heights. I priced similar shrines of feline idolatry, and they done costed dang near 300-400 dollars american. So I checked amazon and the prices were significantly cheaper so I placed the order.
This is a large product so I was amazed I recieved it only two days after placing the order. The ups man complained about the weight, and sighed and cried. He was a pathetic sort. I don't think he'd ever lifted anything heavier than sixty pounds. It's a big box full of carpet, roped cylinders, and particle board promises.
The directions were horrible. It looked like an exploding diagram drawn with charcoal on an elephant corpse. The parts aren't even labeled, and I realized half an hour later the screws are two different sizes. It took four educated human beings about three hours to put together. It's easy to put together, but the directions are quite a painful hinderance. I suggest upon opening the product to take out the directions, (it's only one sheet of chinese paper) and roll yourself a fatty with the directions because they are more than useless. Then open up the picture of the beloved article on Amazon and just lego that business like it's easy.
Upon completion, your painful frustration will turn to lucid joy as you watch your little pussies jump and play. And they love it. THey sleep, play, scratch, and do many other highly feline actions within it's walls. I quite like the modern art look to it, it's as though I have a Caulder in the living room.
I am the envy of all the other residents in my group home. It's also a great place to hide whippets, airplane bottles of green apple schnapps, and FBI listening devices, the orderlies never check. If you love your cats more than your children this is a great gift for your feline assasins.

Review of Deluxe ARmarkat Cat Tree House Condo B7301

After looking around for several months in pet shops and online we
found the Ivory Pet Furniture Tower Cat Tree Condo.
We are very happy with our decision and could not think of any better
indoor tree for our two cats. We have it now for four weeks.
After reviewing many different types we identified several important
criteria. Of course the tower should be sturdy. Also it should have
at the base four legs otherwise it will easily tilt when a cat jumps
on the tree. For us personally, we needed a tree with a small footprint
and a price not significantly over $100.
After reading the comments on this tree we took the risk and ordered it.
It arrived well packed and the assembly was a blast. It took us around
30 minutes. The parts are sturdy and relatively heavy so we suggest
to assemble it with some helping hand. One little caveat: The four
screws on the bottom are not covered with felt so when you move the tree
around on wooden floors you will scratch them! Be very careful in moving
the tree!
The major test followed after we assembled the tree and put it in its
final position: Our cats, will they like it? They were watching us
critically when we assembled the tree. The minute we put the tree in
our bedroom at the wall both were jumping on it and inspected all levels
and the condo. It turns out that the condo is a real favorite place for
both of our cats. Another concern we had was: Will the tree hold
when our two 16 pounders jump on the tree? Well, they did it right
away and the tree easily holds and stands rock solid. Even when
they run over our bed and jump full speed into the tree!
Our cats loved the tree immediately. Also the features are nice
and our cats make use of them. The pillars are covered with sisal
and they love to scratch and stretch. The different levels are
also very much appreciated as well as the little mice that come
with the tree and could be hung into the tree. The only feature
they do not use is the hammock.
Overall, we are very satisfied and would buy this tree again.
It is a well thought through product from the cat's and human's
perspective. We would recommend it immediately to our
friends. If you are looking for a sturdy high quality and competitively
priced tree don't look further you could not go wrong with your
order.

Review of Omega Paw Paw-Cleaning Litter Mat, Tan

I have had many different paw mats in the past and found this one to work the best.For one it is not ment for human feet, it and is not ment to feel good either on your feet since it is plastic.It is there to help REDUCE cat litter from getting all over the floor.I have also found that if you place the mat about two maybe three inches from the cat box that my cats will use it when they are done and not try to leap over it like some views have mentioned.It does also help when you are cleaning the cat box to clean out the mat of litter to otherwise it will not work effectively, just a couple shakes in the garbage bag will do the trick. I have had mine now for a couple of years now and it is the only mat that I find that works best for my two cats.

While the instructions for putting this together is obtuse and hard to follow we still managed to get it up in under an hour.You'll need 2 people since some things are just hard to hold and screw in at the same time.

The quality is good.Very sturdy, stable and it looks good.Both cats took to it straight away.Even the feeble cat was able to get to the first level above ground so that was comforting to see.And the cliff cat went straight to the highest level keeping an eye on things.

Compared to the prices in the local stores this is an amazing buy.The shipper they used, FedEx Ground, even sent me an email when the package was delivered.Even though I was at home and never heard the door bell I knew the package was outside and was able to bring it in.Quite nice service.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and seller.

I bought this to replace a cat tree I have had for 3 years, and after just 1 month of being nothing more than an afterthough for my cats, this thing is in almost as bad a shape as my original one! It is very nice looking and rather easy to put together, but with just a little use the carpeting is already nearly worn on the lower posts, and the carpeting is actually starting to peel off of one of them (poorly made). Its a cheap cat tree, might be good for 1 very tiny cat that doesn't use it to claw on. I have 2 cats, and it is not holding up at all and I will need to replace it soon.

Review of Armarkat Cat Tree Condo A5201

I've bought five different models from this company, this being next to the smallest. The cats loved it, of course, and the faux fur is actually more durable than carpeting (strange but true). As all the faux fur models I've bought, this is a snap to clean with a small brush.
The fact that it fits into a corner is a big plus and the main reason I purchased this configuration.
The only semi-complaint I had was this model seemd a little unstable because of the offset top nest and smaller base. But then, my cats act like a bunch of pirates jumping a merchant vessel, so they do mistreat their furniture. I simply removed the top nest and flipped it over to use as an extra scratch post. If you have a halfway normal cat or two, you really shouldn't have to worry.

I was really happy when I ran across this on the site.First off, the shipping was $10 but I still liked it so I purchased.When it came in they had it so compressed in the box that the top bed part is smashed down and barely comes up.I have two averages size 2 yr old cats who can't even fit into it.The top is so tiny that if your cat is over a yr old don't even waste your money.All in all, I would never purchase this thing again and don't reccomend it because your cats will outgrow it EXTREMELY quick.This is probably going to end up in the garbage in a couple months unless the cats for some strange reason really take to it.

Some of the negative reviews indicate that the Drinkwell is noisy. The truth is, it's only noisy if it doesn't have enough water or if the intake valve is clogged (which so far hasn't caused the pump to burn out for me). There's a slight hum from the pump when it's working correctly, but it will be much quieter than the other appliances in your kitchen.

Cat hair and cat food can both clog the intake. So to keep it in top condition, check the water level once every day or two (or get the add-on reservoir), place the Drinkwell several paces away from the food dish (so your cats aren't tempted to moisten their food with it), and break down and clean the Drinkwell regularly, perhaps once a month when you change the filter cartridge.

Review of Cats Rule Perfect Litter Mat Pink Fizz

I really like this litter mat. It's easy to clean, it's durable, it keeps litter from getting everywhere, and it looks really good with our pink litter box on top of it. Our cat really likes it, so much so that she lays on it. She has her claws, but she doesn't seem to want to scratch it or anything like that. I really recommend it, and I personally could not be happier with it.

Review of Petnation by Firstrax Port-A-Crate E2 Indoor/Outdoor Pet Home, 20 Inches

I had looked everywhere to find this crate in the older style model which the company changed about a year ago.The description when I ordered it said it had the stake tie down straps which is specifically what I wanted to secure crates on a rack in my van for travel to shows and the pictures showed the larger mesh window areas of the older model which provide better ventilation.What I got was the newer model which doesn't have tie down straps and has smaller mesh windows.The picture still shows the larger mesh window area and stake tie down straps, which is not what the newer model has.The description has now been changed to reflect the newer mode, but picture has not been changed.Amazon should make sure their pictures and description reflect exactly what they are selling!
This brand crate is well made and holds up well as I have three of the older model this size and two of a larger size model.I do not like the changes the company made to the newer version though being smaller mesh windows on sides and no tie down straps.

Good cat tree - my cat seems to like it but doesn't seem to scratch at it (prefers the couch and luggage).Would be nice if the top perch was a just a tiny bit bigger and more stable- cat jumped up there once and hasn't since.2nd level perch is the prefered spot so he can look out the window - and I had to keep his old tree (torn to shreds) for the high napping spot he likes.Overall a pretty good buy- price was right and easy to put together.Not too heavy so I was able to move around easily to find just the right spot for it.

Review of 78" Jungle GYM Cat Furniture Tree Condo House Scratcher Post Pet House F2029

I just got this two days ago and it came in very sturdy box within another sturdy box. It was delivered to my porch and I brought it upstars to my second floor rental in pieces as can't lift the 70 lbs.I am very pleased and my cats have taken to it. One cat is 10 lbs and the other 13 lbs. I bought is so the lighter cat could have a perch to get up from the heavier cat who is a little bit of a bully. No funny odd smells came out of the box or the condo.

I would have given 5 stars if the holes were all drilled correctly. The "ladder to nowhere" I think is part of the support and rather than leave it off I determined to try to attach it even though only one screw and hole lined up. One screw hole is right at the edge of the cubby and the other screw hole ended up underneath the cubby. Had I know that before I put it all together I could have drilled a different hole that worked. One screw is not enough to make the ladder stable. There is nothing to secure the ladder to the bottom - only two separate screws to each top part. I had to take some short nails and toenail in about 4 small nails to secure the one side. Also the directions are visual and it really took some spacial thinking to get the thing right. Some of the fabric obscures the drilled holes and I stabbed myself trying to open up one of them and left a bit of blood on the wood to show for the effort :).

For the price, size and overall I think it's a good deal. I have a smaller condo by a different manufacturer and I like this brand better.

One of our cats, that often prefers to be outdoors at all times of the year, is using this on our covered deck when the weather is colder. The merchant (Revival Animal Health) delivered in a very timely fashion. Although not clear in the product description, it did include a fleece cover for the pad.

Review of Armarkat Ivory Pet Furniture Tower cat tree condo 6 level B6203

I bought this cat tree for my two cats (one adult about a year old and one kitten about 4 months old) who had been disagreeing since the younger of the two arrived. They both instantly fell in love with it, and have even stopped fighting since it arrived! I worried at first that the top perch has the tiniest wobble to it, but it doesn't seem to bother either kitty. They play on it and sit next to each other watching the squirrels go by.

It's a great product that I'd recommend to anyone with one or more cats. It's really sturdy with a good solid base. As long as you tighten all the bolts enough, you shouldn't have any wobble to 95% of its structure (just the very top and only a tiny bit). Assembly is pretty easy, just make sure to put the flat headed bolts in the bottom of the base and not the rounded ones. That might sound like a no-brainer, but all but two of the bolts are the same length and width so it can get confusing if you're not paying close attention. Also, the directions show the two cat perches on top having the wall lip facing to the right side. My declawed cat found this problematic so I unscrewed the lower one and rotated it 90 degrees counter-clockwise and re-attached it. This seems to be a better configuration than the original because the lips now on the outside edges of the tree and serve to hold the kitties in rather than block their path to the top. The tall posts give both cats things to scratch so they can get a good stretch.

Review of Precision Pet Outback Country Lodge Small

Going by the name, Outback Country Lodge, and the look of it from the online pictures, you get the impression it's going to be a sturdy dog house.However, once you get it out of the box, it's kind of flimsy.I went ahead and put mine together, and I'm hoping for the best.I got the small one, and was able to pick up and move the dog house all by myself, with no trouble at all. I'm using it outside, so, I'm still hoping it holds up to normal weather conditions.

An excellent kitty condo for the money.After comparing this condo with what is available in brick and mortar stores, there is NO comparison....not even close.

Relatively easy to assemble and our cat loves the different levels, being 6 feet in the air, and the fact that each supporting post is a scratching post.

Only complaint....the box was a bit bashed when it arrived but this product is pretty sturdy and it would be difficult to actually damage it.So, even though the box was crunched on one end and banged up a bit elsewhere, the product was undamaged and we are very happy with the result.Be aware the product in the delivery box is heavy and not easy to move by one person.

Review of 9-LEVEL 72" Cat Tree Furniture A7202

First off, I have been shopping for one of these things for about 4 years, but I either didn't like what I saw or the price was too steep. Sometimes both. This year I decided that I was absolutely going to buy a kitty condo for my three cats no matter what. I found this one and it had all the features that I was looking for. I still hesitated and shopped around at the local petstore. None of the trees were as big as this one and they didn't have the features I wanted. Plus they were almost twice the price. That settled it. I ordered this kitty condo with the hopes that my cats would think it was just as cool as I did. It was supposed to be their Christmas present after all. I put it together as soon as it showed up (assembly was quite easy I might add) and it was an immediate hit. The male cats love the top perches and the female likes the box to hide in. They also like the dangling yarn balls. The one goes so crazy over them that I'm afraid he might fall off because he forgets where he is. They also use the sisal rope pillars instead of my furniture to sharpen their claws. They haven't grasped the concept of the hammock, but I think it may just be a matter of time. This is probably the best cat toy I ever got them and they can look out the entire height of the large front window. My cats really love this thing.

Review of KONG Cat Naturals - Incline Scratcher

I opened up the cat scratcher, spread a little nip on and my cat went to town on it. He barely gave me a chance to set it up. He has used incline scratchers before so this was something he was familiar with.

I would recommend trying to weigh down the scratcher if your cat is over 7 lbs. I just stuck a little 10lb weight inside the little hole in the back. They are more apt to use the scratcher if it doesn't move around on them while they are scratching away.

I bought this online because the price was so much better. I bought the incline scratcher and 2 packages of refills for what it would have cost for just the incline scratcher at a local pet store.

If you're cat doesn't take to it you can't really blame the scratcher. Cats are persnickety creatures. My cat loves the incline scratcher but will not go near the pole with the rope for scratching.

The cat is happy, I'm happy and my furniture is spared.

Review of Litter Kwitter Cat Toilet Training System

We were quite skeptical about the Litter Kwitter after buying a "CityKitty" a few months earlier which we threw out after a few weeks because there was no way of taking a step back after we physically cut out a larger hole in the plastic. It also was quite "wobbly" for the cat to stand on. Now I know why the Litter Kwitter costs twice the price...it's made of high-quality plastic (the same material as what hard-hats are made of according to the manufacturer) and it's 3 rings mean you can go back a step if needed.

Anyway, after asking the very patient folks at Cleverlad Pets 8 questions about the product, we finally decided to buy one and we are very impressed with our cat's progress in using it most of the time after a few weeks.

After getting him to use the tray on the floor for a couple of weeks with the red ring, we moved it up onto the toilet and then changed to the orange ring on week 3...I think we probably were a little too impatient with our expectations at that point, because went a couple of times on the floor next to the toilet bowl, and became ultra-fascinated by the hole where I think he could see his relfection in the water!At this point, we reverted back to the red tray for a few days until he was using it consistently again before changing back to the orange ring.

To cut a long story short, we're now onto the Green (go) ring and "Jeebus" is using it about 90% of the time after about 6 weeks of training.

We absolutely love not having to clean up a stinky litter tray anymore, or worrying about what germs Jeebus has on his paws from scratching through the litter.

This item seems pretty well made, has nice material and makes for a great scratching post, but it is pretty small and my cat won't go into the house.I am thinking about making the hole bigger to see if that would make a difference.Be a good house for a smaller cat, mine is about 9 pounds, but at least it makes for a good place to sharpen her claws!

Review of Drinkwell Platinum Pet Fountain

I have two cats and I definteley spoil them rotten!When I first decided to get a water fontain for my cats I chose the Petmate Freshflow over the Drinkwell because the Drinkwell was more expensive and I was completely against the idea of listening to running water all day.Unlike most customers I've heard from the Petmate worked farily well as a water BOWL.It was easy to clean and my pump never stopped working as I've read many others did.However, the water running down the little ramp really didn't satisfy my cats.They did drink from it, but they would still jump at any chance to drink running water out of a faucet which is the whole reason I started thinking about getting them one in the first place.About a ear and a half later I started thinking about getting them a new one and possibly going with the more expensive Drinkwell this time.I saw the new Drinkwell Platinum and decided to go with it right away.The Platinum is more expensive than both the previous models I was looking at but it is definteley worth the extra cost.It's like Drinkwell took all the criticism and praise for both thier design and their competitors and created an exceptional pet drinking fontain.I have had my Platinum for about 5 months now and have been very pleased with it.The Drinkwell team designed the water outlet so that it would minimize the water from braiding which cuts down on the water noise. In fact at the setting I have mine, about mid way between low and mid level, I can't hear it at all!They also put a little debris trap before the water even gets to the pump which should greatly increase the pumps life.The water resevoir is also much bigger than that of my Petmate and the Drinkwell's optional larger resevoir on their original design.All and all I veiw this as a time where a company actually went out there and designed their product by what thier customers wanted!!!So after reading all that you maybe wondering why I only gave this product 4 stars.Well the one thing that I would really like to see is that the actual bowl area be made of stainless steel or some ceramic mix which is totally what I have been told by several vets is the BEST material for any pet to be drinking/eating out of.If they were to add that one extra feature than I would give this 5 stars out of 5 hands down!!!!!!
